This is the first of several sci-fi houses and buildings that I've sketched out. It was inspired by some illustrations of Maya ruins and is part of a small compound consisting of 4 buildings and walled grounds.
Each level lifts off to permit interior access, and the intent is to have a landing pad on the roof (though that could change before it is done). I'm debating whether to frame in the windows with than foam or styrene strip. Foam will be much faster, but the styrene will make the model much stonger and make for a cleaner, more "futuristic" looking model.
In any event, here are a few in progress pics. The model is 28mm at 12 inches square, almost a foot tall, and made of blue Dow foam mounted on a styrene sheet base.
