The Scavenger Village
The scavenger village was envisioned
as a combination of cast masonry buildings made during colonization,
and of prefabricated self contained living modules dropped onto
the planet. All would show varying degrees of wear and tear, but
still be quite functional. While I wanted them to look worn, I
still wanted them to fit into larger futuristic city scape, so
I didn't want to over customize them with scavenger modifications.
The first generation of buildings
are shown below.
Some detail work and flocking still
needs to be done, but the basic idea is shown.
The masonry buildings are made of
blue foam with wood and styrene
plastic details. The blue/gray pre-fabs are made of styrene sheet
and other plastic bits.
