Kroot Conversions

Hiding in my basement are a small band of GW Kroot figures in various stages of conversion. I had decided some time ago, that with their slender build, they just screamed to have long flowing cloaks, capes ,etc. and that their equipment would attach via a series of straps. The overall idea was to give them a dramatic, flowing the in the wind effect and to make them look sort of nomadic. Here are a couple of in progress pics of my first Psuedo-Kroot.

The pics above show a couple of the initial poses. Tracker and Wardancer show that I wanted to have poses dramatically different from the out-of-the-box figures.

Above: In progress shots of the first additions of greenstuff. Unfortunately, the putty was old and a bit clumsy to work with, but I was too impatient to wait until getting new putty.

I really need to get better lighting for taking photos.

In my little universe, they will be a spartan band of pilgrams seeking their long lost home-world. Peaceful enough until something gets in their way.
