Science Fiction Figure Project
To get my Near Future/Post Apocalyptic/Space
Piracy game going, I started working on converting a box of GW
Kroot figures in Jan 04. However, work and other home projects
got in the the way, so not much got accomplished. Recently I finally
sat down and started working on my psuedo-Kroot.
I had decided some time ago, that
with their slender build, they just screamed to have long flowing
cloaks, capes ,etc. and that their equipment would attach via
a series of straps. The overall idea was to give them a dramatic,
flowing the in the wind effect and to make them look sort of nomadic.
Here are a couple of in progress pics of my first Psuedo-Kroot.
Another related project is the construction
of my Krootbuggy, a light utility and scout vehicle for my bird
dudes.
It's pretty basic and looks entirely
too clean at this point, but will be eventually have lots of stowage
and clutter. Additionally, it will have a crew of about six birdmen
with duplicate figs for deploying away from the buggy.
